DC Protestors will not Deter sheriff Arpaio

SHERIFF ARPAIO STATES THAT PROTESTORS IN WASHINGTON DID NOT DETER HIM FROM ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL CRIME SUPPRESSION OPERATIONWill Enforce Immigration Laws until Federal Government Changes PoliciesPhoenix, AZ - This past weekend while immigration activists headed to Washington D.C. to demand immigration reform from the White House and Congress, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s office was busy arresting 111 suspects during a two-day crime suppression operation that focused on human smuggling of illegal aliens and drug trafficking.Of the 111 arrested, the Sheriff confirmed that 78 were suspected of being in the country illegally and 57 of the illegal aliens were arrested for human smuggling violations. The operation also involved two large drug seizures of over 900 lbs of marijuana and five pounds of methamphetamines by illegal aliens.
The Sheriff says that the results of his 14th crime suppression operation are evidence that drug trafficking and illegal immigration are related and contribute to the violence at the U.S.-Mexico border.
